Vive la France, vive les sports!

Furthermore, every student here is obliged to participate in at least on sport. As a consequence, I enrolled for rowing and fencing. Last week, I had my first rowing training with the HEC Rowing team and started my fencing class. On the week-ends, they offer climbing classes and we will do that as well.

Vive la France, vive l' HEC Paris!

Dear all,

here is a foto of our lovely campus! In fact, the name HEC "PARIS" is a little misleading, the campus is located next to Versailles (the amazing castle of Louis XIV). We proposed to name it HEC du bois, which means HEC in the forrests.

I arrived here on September 5th, just a few days before the courses for our CEMS program started. Those of you not knowing about CEMS, feel free to visit the homepage www.cems.org!

The Blocked Seminar, the first week here, was about Strategic Marketing (not exactly my favorite topic) but anyway was an interesting experience to have a deeper look inside the world of luxury products such as Burburry or Luis Vuitton.

The CEMS-people here are great, we represent a range of more than 30 countries, some even with double nationalities and really international experiences from the early age on.
